Kitchen Additions

New home, new kitchen, new kitchenware! The move has made me realize just how much I need now that we are of our cute but small apartment.  While shopping for kitchenware, I wanted to make sure I was buying the cleanest, non-toxic & best made products that made sense for my family—keep scrolling for a few of my recent purchased!

1. Shun Hinoki Cutting Board

I’ve decided to move to wood cutting boards only & came across this hinoki one.  So far we love it—it’s a soft wood, very light & has a natural lemony scent!

2. Global Classic Knife Set 

These knives are amazing & I can’t recommend them enough! Super sharp, easy to use & to clean!

3. Alabaster Fluted Marble Trivet

This was actually bigger than I was expecting but makes me love it even more! It’s the perfect tray for pots, pans & cooking utensils—sleek, easy to clean & blends in with my white countertops.

4. Cabo Woven Placemats

I actually haven’t bought these yet but they’re on my list! I just love the fun take on a classic design!

5. Caraway Glass Food Storage Containers

Still waiting for these to arrive but super excited to get them—these containers are both non-toxic & chic!

6. Staub Cast Iron Grill Skillet

I spent a lot of time researching cast iron before deciding on Staub.  Eventually I think we’ll switch to pans with no enamel but I want to get more comfortable with cast iron cooking before taking the leap! 

7. Italian Washed Linen Napkins

You can never go wrong with a set of plain white linen napkins! Now that I have room to host dinners, I’m super excited to grow my tablescape decor

8. Nobiesse Greenmaid Dishwasher Detergent & Chef Soap

Just as important as non-toxic kitchenware, non-toxic cleaning products! Nobiesse it my favorite place for non-toxic soap, lip balm, toothpaste, deodorant & more—including their dish detergent & kitchen soap.
